	James A. "Trip" Holmes, III Mr. Holmes has been extensively involved in the Mergers and Acquisitions field since 1984 and has negotiated more than 220 transactions. Industry experience includes manufacturing, distribution, retail, health care and a cross section of other industries. Experience as an officer of Wachovia Bank, prior to entering the consulting industry brings a sound financial basis to every assignment with in-depth experience structuring business financing and developing creative borrowing solutions. Mr. Holmes is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Carolina Virginia Business Brokers Association, International Business Brokers Association and has earned the title of “Fellow of the IBBA - Certified Business Intermediary” and profiled in the Triangle Business Journal’s Who’s Who in Finance/Banking. He holds a BS from East Carolina University, and attended the program in Mergers and Acquisitions at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Vernon B. Powell

Mr. Powell business experience includes the formation and growth of a seventeen unit retail chain for a major textile manufacturer, the successful leveraged buyout of a regional furniture manufacturer, and the start-up and expansion of a vertical furniture manufacturing/retail operation. With twenty years of Mergers and Acquisition experience, he has successfully negotiated multi-million dollar transactions in numerous industries, particularly healthcare. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington.


	David Erickson Mr. Erickson has extensive experience in management consulting and small and large business operations. Consulting assignments have ranged from mergers and acquisitions to organization development in many industries. Active in Harvard Alumni Association, he has served on the Finance Committee of the Wake County Public School System. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and has an MBA from Harvard.
